EU Right of Withdrawal Policy

This policy applies to eligible consumers located in the European Union and is intended to explain your statutory right of withdrawal when purchasing from SOFT NAIL STUDIO.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are an eligible consumer in the European Union purchasing online, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, unless an applicable legal exception applies.

For goods, the 14-day withdrawal period generally begins on the day you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.

Returning Your Order

After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, eligible goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you informed us of your withdrawal.

Please contact us before sending your return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.

For an eligible withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires us to bear the cost.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method and keeping your proof of shipment until your return has been completed.

Condition of Returned Items

You may inspect an eligible product only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

Where applicable, returned products should include the original product components and accessories supplied with the order.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The EU right of withdrawal does not apply in certain circumstances provided by applicable law.

These may include, among other exceptions:

  • Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery.

For SOFT NAIL STUDIO, this means that certain genuinely customized or personalized press-on nail sets may not qualify for the 14-day right of withdrawal where they have been made specifically to your individual specifications.

A product is not treated as personalized merely because it is handmade. Eligibility depends on the nature of the individual order and applicable law.

Where we rely on a hygiene-related exception, it will only apply where the relevant legal requirements for that exception are satisfied.

Refunds After Withdrawal

If your withdrawal is valid, we will reimburse the payments required by applicable law, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for your original order.

If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express shipping, the additional delivery cost above our standard delivery option does not have to be reimbursed.

Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first, where permitted by applicable law.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Your statutory rights regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect goods are separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible at info@softnailstudio.com.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos or videos showing the issue
  • Photos of the packaging where relevant
  • A brief description of the problem

We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

Handmade Press-On Nails

Many SOFT NAIL STUDIO designs are handcrafted and may include hand-applied details such as cat-eye effects, glitter, charms, rhinestones, or decorative elements.

Minor variations in pattern, shimmer, color placement, or decoration can naturally occur between handmade sets.

These variations do not affect any statutory rights you may have if a product is defective or does not conform to the order.

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • The item(s) you wish to withdraw
  • A clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase

You do not need to provide a reason for an eligible withdrawal.

We will provide the information necessary to proceed with the return.
